As this week started with India losing to Pakistan in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and Pakistan losing to India in World Hockey League semi-finals 2017, simultaneously let us have a look at this week’s happenings in Ré.
Ré has opened registrations for ‘summer intake projects’. The deadline for the registration is June 30 and a lot of registrations are being received through Google forms. We are expecting a lot more registrations within this month end. Once this is done, the zeroth review for these projects will be scheduled and conducted. If any student doesn’t registers in this intake, they have to wait till the winter intake. No proposals will be taken in between summer and winter intake. Ré is excited about the new innovative project s this summer.
Three rounds of mind marathon were conducted on June 12, 14 and 16 which was based on the aptitude skills. This was an online apti league and we got a lot of responses for this mind marathon. Winners of the three marathons were announced on Monday and they were Ben from 3rd year, Tamilselvi from 2nd year and Nithin from 2nd year. Program management team and Promotions and Branding team worked on this event and made it into a successful event. This was another step for recognizing aspiring minds.
PAPER PRESENTATION 2017:
Ré and Qubate club of KCT have combined together to conduct a paper presentation event for the 1st years this July. Both teams have combined and discussions were made this week about the protocol of the event which was later finalized. The poster works will start by next week.
Some of the other works going up in Ré this week are, the Finance team is following up reimbursement for the past intakes. The Growth and Community team is working and analyzing on the progress tracker which would be soon brought into action. The exploration circle is discussing on the new plans that could be brought into action for the next academic year. The Experts’ committee is working on the Faculty profile which would be supportive for the selection of review panel for the upcoming projects. The Content Generation team had published their first issue already and the next issue is due for the end of this month. Do look out for new articles in
